Lesser known and quieter than Dunkerque or Calais.

Calais + Canals
The most convenient port, closest to the UK and Dover and Ramsgate, plus the connecting canal.
Saint-Valéry + Somme
Saint-Valéry port and the picturesque Canal de la Somme. Avoids many of the busier northern canals.
Seine and Ports
Le Havre, Honfleur and Rouen (preferred port for mast unstepping). The River Seine to Paris.
Port St Louis + Rhone
Port St Louis and Port Napoleon, the most easterly Mediterranean entry ports, on the River Rhone.
Grau du Roi + Rhone-Sete
Sète + C. Rhone-Sete
Mediterranean entry ports at Sète and Frontignan, the Canal Rhone à Séte and the Étang de Thau.
Grau d'Agde + C. du Midi
Port la Nouvelle + Canal
The most westerly Mediterranean entry port, leading into the Nouvelle branch of the Canal du Midi.
Bordeaux + Gironde
Atlantic/Biscay entry. Gironde Estuary, Pauillac (unstepping), Bordeaux and Canal de Garonne.
